A bit about me
I’m Sammy and I’m the face behind all the hairstyles you see. I’m based in Somerset and I’m a mum to two beautiful children and have a wonderful partner called Luke.
After school I went straight into an apprenticeship in hairdressing and completed my level 2 and 3 NVQ, and from the get go I always enjoyed doing hair up and also came 2nd place in my first hair up competition back in 2013, I then enjoyed working in a busy salon for 8 years doing colours, haircuts and hair up.
When covid lockdown hit in 2020, it made me have a long hard think of my next career move. I decided to go freelance and created a hair studio in my home which I’m very proud of. Since going freelance I’ve focused on following my dream and concentrating on what I enjoy most in hairdressing, and hands down that’s creating wedding hairstyles.
Through lockdown I made that time useful by doing online hairstyling courses and practicing new skills.
Last year I enjoyed doing all of the weddings that booked in with me and I would like to thank all the brides that chose me to create your perfect look and being part of your wedding day.
This year I’ve got so many exciting opportunities for you all to see and can’t wait to do all the beautiful brides to be this year!
